Book Review: Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue
This is a section from the book “Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue that discusses the way our minds work and how we think. It shows us that we can control much more of the way our brains work with the right strategies.
How to Deal with Emotional Upheaval
We’ve all met folks we don’t get along with. Perhaps it’s a member of your family or a close friend. Maybe you’ve tried and failed to treat this individual with kindness. We all struggle with intense emotions like rage, love, hatred, and envy from time to time. And, all too frequently, we don’t know how to deal with these feelings. We might even let them get the better of us.
Some of us have a tougher experience dealing with our emotions than others. Many people today are so upset that they want to yell, debate, or become violent. It can be challenging to deal with strong emotions. If you’ve ever struggled with something like anger, you know how hard it can be to regulate your emotions.
Part of you wants to do the right thing and respond calmly
to the circumstance. However, a part of you might lash out. When we struggle
with powerful emotions, we frequently develop counterproductive responses.
Someone may say something to you that causes you to become enraged. Your
response is the same every time. You’re ready to fight. You cannot respond in a
mature fashion. But why?
This is a quote from the book Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue:
“Pay more heed to your priorities, and let the cosmos see you are sincerely prepared to achieve wellbeing! Avoid having too many obstructions, even being preoccupied with too many of them while uplifting yourself.”
