Should You Build Your Website Yourself?
There are lots of things we can do in our lives to save a little money. For instance, you can cook your own meals and avoid the cost of eating out. You can paint your own house and lower the cost of that chore. You can even change the oil in your car and save a few bucks there. But building your own website is usually a bad idea.
We’ve all seen those DIY websites and usually, they are not effective. OTC Global Holdings has a very professional site that inspires confidence.
Javier Loya of OTC Global Holdings has this advice: “A homemade website won’t work. It’s pretty easy to tell when a site has not been designed and created by a pro. It paints a negative image for your company and hence, your products and services.”
Writing your own content is also a bad idea. It’s not that expensive to hire a pro. Common sense is way underrated. Be sure your website is full of informative, well written content that a normal person might enjoy reading such as that found on the OTC Global Holdings site.
Businesses know that they can’t just house their company in a shack or a tent. They realize that they should not make homemade signs for the front of their building. There seems to be a gap in understanding when it comes to your company website though.
